The 'Big Things are Happening in Downtown Chatham' publication has been relaunched as 'What's Up Downtown' with a brand new look and feel. A local publication that highlights many of the fabulous businesses in the dowtown core of Chatham, Ontario. Historic Downtown Chatham is located in the heart of downtown and exhibits a vast array of independently owned businesses. This publication focuses on these entrepreneurs who offer products that range from specialty retail clothing shops to boutiques that offer scrumptious treats, and services that include scrapbooking classes to music lessons. There is truly something for everyone in our Downtown area!
What's Up Downtown is a free publication that is offered twice a year. Throughout Chatham-Kent you can find 5000 hard copies displayed throughout our community in locations including physicians’ offices, retirement homes, retailers, and entertainment venues. An additional 5000 electronic copies are e-blasted to local professionals with- in a 1km radius of the downtown area. All guests of the Retro Suites Hotel receive a copy upon check-in.
The publication offers shopping contests and is usually coupled with a coupon book produced by the Historic Downtown Chatham BIA.
This publication is only available to downtown merchants belonging to Historic Downtown Chatham BIA and is 50% subsidized by the Historic Downtown Chatham BIA.
